Pay It Forward Day

Pay It Forward Day is part of our commitment to uplift the people and communities we call home. Rooted in the mission of the SEG Foundation, Pay It Forward is about showing up across Utah, creating moments of unexpected joy, and demonstrating the powerful effect of a community committed to showing up for each other. On December 9, the Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth, SEG employees, many SEG partners, and hopefully Utahns across the state will join together in surprise-and-delight moments, community service projects, nonprofit support, and acts of kindness.

Whether it's surprising first responders with a kind gift, covering someone's groceries, donating meals, paying for someone's gas, paying pet adoption fees, visiting a neighbor, opening the door for a stranger, or writing a thank you note, every good deed makes a difference.

We're inviting individuals, families, and businesses across Utah to perform their own acts of kindness — no matter how big or small — and share them with us for a chance to win tickets, merch, autographed items, and more. On December 9, simply post your good deed using the hashtag #PayItForwardUtah on Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn to be entered to win. Together, we can create a ripple effect of generosity that reaches every corner of our state.
